The console-mode packages below are generally believed to work with telnetd and other remote command-prompt services such as those provided byAtaman Software, Inc. products. Many of these packages are used internally.

Console-mode "vi" Text Editor

A Windows NT port of the xvi text editor. This is a nearly POSIX compliant version of the "vi" text editor found on Unix systems.

 

Console-mode "emacs" Text Editor

A Windows NT port of the mg text editor. This editor implements a substantial subset of "emacs" text editor found on many Unix systems.

Console-mode "more" Text Viewer

A Windows NT port of the "more" text viewer program developed by the University of California, Berkeley and its contributors. This version is the POSIX "more", found on many Unix systems.

Console-mode "ed" Text Viewer

A Windows NT port of the "ed" text editor program developed by the University of California, Berkeley and its contributors. This version is the POSIX "ed" found on many Unix systems.
